Ferro Molybdenum
Ferromolybdenum is the alloy of molybdenum and iron. It is often used as an introducer for molybdenum element during steel-making. When added to steel, steel will be given a close-grained structure and higher hardenability, which are in favor of get rid of temper brittleness. In high-speed steel, molybdenum can be used to partially replace tungsten. The mixing of molybdenum and other alloy elements can be widely used to produce stainless steel, heat-resisting steel, acid resisting steel, tool steel and alloys with special physical properties. Cast iron with molybdenum will have a higher strength and wear resistance.
