Brazilian ferro-silicon exports more than doubled year-on-year in April, boosted mainly by sales to the USA, the Netherlands and India.

Earnings of Brazil’s ferro-alloys producer Ferbasa fell 9.6% year-on-year in the first quarter, negatively affected by higher production costs and lower prices.
